Join NMA's Individual Member Leadership Association President David Sandhu for a four-part series centered on AI and tools to transform how you work. The sessions will focus on distinguishing between AI as a search engine vs a strategic partner, getting better answers with better prompts, stress testing your ideas before presenting them, and offloading the work that drains you.
Session 03 — The Strategic Co-Pilot
Most professionals use AI to create content. The highest performers use it to sharpen their thinking. In this session, we move beyond content generation and into strategic decision-making — showing you how to use AI as a Red Team, a Devil's Advocate, and a scenario planner that finds the blind spots in your ideas before anyone else does. Through live demonstrations, we will show you how to feed a real proposal or idea to AI and ask it to proactively identify risks, counterarguments, and stakeholder objections — so you walk into every conversation more prepared, more confident, and more credible.
By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Use the Red Team Prompt to have AI aggressively critique their ideas and surface blind spots
- Apply scenario planning techniques to simulate how different stakeholders will respond to a proposal
- Run a Pre-Mortem — asking AI to imagine a project failed and explain exactly why — before work begins
- Stress-test their work before presenting it to leadership, dramatically increasing their strategic influence
