Session Summary (30 minutes)

Effective leadership begins with self-awareness. Leaders who understand their emotions, recognize their triggers, and manage their reactions are better equipped to navigate challenges, make thoughtful decisions, and communicate effectively.

This session focuses on developing greater self-awareness and emotional self-management. Participants will explore how emotions influence leadership behavior, identify personal triggers, and learn practical strategies to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively.

Learning Objectives By the end of this session, participants will be able to: 

• Recognize personal emotional triggers and leadership blind spots. 

• Understand how emotions influence behavior, communication, and decision-making. 

• Apply strategies to improve emotional regulation and resilience. 

• Strengthen self-awareness through reflection and feedback. 

• Respond intentionally during challenging situations.
