Session Summary (30 minutes)

Leadership is ultimately about people. Emotionally intelligent leaders create environments where individuals feel heard, valued, respected, and safe to contribute. Trust and psychological safety are critical components of employee engagement, collaboration, and team performance.

This session explores how emotional intelligence strengthens relationships and helps leaders create workplaces where people can thrive. Participants will learn practical techniques to improve empathy, active listening, trust-building, and psychological safety. 

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to: 

• Understand the connection between empathy, trust, and leadership effectiveness. 

• Practice active listening and emotional awareness.

• Recognize behaviors that strengthen or weaken trust. 

• Understand the importance of psychological safety on team performance. 

• Apply emotionally intelligent leadership practices that support engagement and collaboration.
